Match day 8 of the Premier League is coming up with the biggest clash being Manchester United’s trip to Liverpool for Monday night.

Other enticing clashes to keep an eye out for are Chelsea vs Leicester City and Manchester City vs Everton.

Below arethe predictions ahead of this weekend clashes;

Saturday

Chelsea – Leicester City

Last season, Jose Mourinho lost his job after seeing his side crash to a 2 – 1 defeat at Leicester City and under fire Antonio Conte will be hoping to escape such fate.

Predicted scoreline: Chelsea 3 – 1 Leicester City

Bournemouth – Hull City

The Cherries have looked a decent side this season while Hull’s incredible start to the season which included a win against Leicester City on the opening day looks years ago. Mike Phelan might have gotten the job full time, but his side are yet to fully convince the fans.

Predicted scoreline: Bournemouth 2 – 0 Hull City

Arsenal – Swansea City

The Swans have a new coach in Bob Bradley who replaces the departed Francesco Guodulin.

The American is known to build solid sides, but the former USA coach is yet to prove himself an astute club manager. Arsenal come into the game with good form which is a little bad news for the Welsh club.

Predicted scoreline: Arsenal 4 – 1 Swansea City

Manchester City – Everton

Two former disciples of Johann Cryuff; Pep Guardiola and Ronald Koeman clash in one of the biggest clashes of the weekend.

Everton have looked better defensively this season but Man City’s attack might be too much for Phil Jagielka (if he plays), Ashley Williams and Funes Mori.

Stoke City – Sunderland

Sunderland have looked utterly useless this season but Stoke showed in their last game against Manchester United that they can score goals. Joe Allen will be key for the Potters who will have to be weary of Jermaine Defoe.

Predicted scoreline: Stoke City 2 – 0 Sunderland

West Bromwich Albion – Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs are one of the best teams this season and they defeated Man City 2 – 0 at White Hart Lane just before the international break.

Despite the absence of Moussa Dembele in the middle of the pack and Harry Kane upfront, Spurs have enough firepower to blast West Brom away. Nacer Chadli will be looking to get one over his former side.

Predicted scoreline: West Brom 0 – 3 Tottenham

Crystal Palace – West Ham United

Palace are flying, West Ham are being hammered week-in-week-out and find themselves in 18th place after seven games.

With Christian Benteke ‘scoring goals for fun’, West Ham might find it hard, but Dimitry Payet has returned to some sort of fun. This is one London derby you shouldn’t miss.

Predicted scoreline: Palace 1 – 1 West Ham

Sunday

Middlesbrough – Watford

Boro and Watford have made good starts to the season but nothing spectacular. There is something about Watford that says they need just one player to make their attacking play come into gear.

Roberto Pereyra could prove to be that player in the long term. Boro will want to see Negredo and Stuano on top of their game to have a chance to earn a point.

Predicted scoreline: Boro 1 – 2 Watford

Southampton – Burnley

On paper, this is a mismatch but Burnley have this season proved sometimes tough to beat. Just ask Liverpool who they beat 2 – 0 on match day two.

Southampton however have not fully clicked into gear under Claude Puel despite encouraging signs.

Monday

Liverpool vs Manchester United

The one match everyone is waiting for – Liverpool look frightening, United look dependable in a handful of players (Wayne Rooney aside).

The Reds have already beaten Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester City this season while United have defeated…eerm….Southampton, Hull City and drew with Stoke. Oh, but Manchester City defeated them.
