28 Super Falcons resume training in Abuja

TWENTY EIGHT Super Falcons are expected in Abuja as they commence their build up to the 2016 African Women’s Cup of Nations slated for Cameroon after the camp opened yesterday.

Twenty home based players are to kick-start the preparation for the defence of the competition they won two years ago in Namibia and they are to be joined later by eight foreign based players.

The Media Officer of the team, Kisu Sulola reports that the Falcons will resume training immediately under the watchful eyes of Florence Omagbemi, Ann Chiejine and other coaches and they are expected to play tune up matches against selected teams within and around Abuja and some Women’s Professional League sides before the start of the competition.
