The much anticipated YBNL 2.0 Concert was held in London on Sunday, October 9, 2016. The event was heavily attended by the label’s London fans, setting a record for attendance.

The concert which was sold out was headlined by acts Olamide, Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold and Temmie Ovwasa who entertained 5000 fans that stormed the Hammersmith Apollo venue.

With the venue at full capacity, security had no choice but to close the doors, refusing angry fans in their hundreds entry into the concert. Interruptions from the fans made Olamide cut short his performance.

Olamide also disappointed many of his fans who highly anticipating his performing the hit song Who You Epp.

Expressing his disappointment at the abrupt end of the show, Olamide said although he was humbled at the record numbers of concert-goers who came out to see him, he was still disappointed that his fans didn’t get to witness the end of the show which he had prepared for months.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Smade Events, Junior Adeosun, said: “All attempts were made to ensure Olamide gave his final performance including offering to cover any security costs to the venue but we eventually had to understand the health and safety concerns of the arena owners as the crowd outside continuously rushed the door”.
